Lego Engineering
Students explore STEM careers and take a closer look at engineering through the use of Lego, and try their hand at designing, building and racing their own vehicles in a fun competition.
CSI: Crack the Case
A brief introduction to the world of forensic science. A simulated crime scene will be set-up in the classroom allowing pupils to explore evidence types and significant exhibits useful to the investigation. During the session, pupils will be introduced to basic crime scene examination skills including fingerprint lifting and footwear casting.
The Budgeting Game
A fast-moving activity in which we address some of the myths surrounding Student Finance. Your pupils will face some of the budgeting dilemmas undergraduate students face, and must use their decision making skills to effectively balance the costs of studying and their social life.
